Artists don't rest.
What became of the painting we all talked about?

very evocative. it tells the story that so many of us are living. I wish I could move my work from anger toward the politicians to reflections on our lost souls. maybe in time.

I like your words

thank you Rosanna

colorme: thank you

Zekeri : yes maybe in time I think we all be able to reflect and think and see colors again, without question.

aaasp : I know , we as artist don't rest because our world is full of images to be put in a canvas, and with all this the images are just creeping up.
What painting that we talked about?

Ok this was and his my view of what happened, and working in a nursing home and having to deal with veterans and people that were in the Pearl Harbor attack it's been really hard, and that is just aside from my own personnal life. Wich brought everthing into real time. But that was back then, I am moving forward and taking those that look up to me (the 80 something age) to smile and not be scared because their lives is already full of pain or sorrow for lost ones or their own lives.
Thank you all for your comments:)

Ceu, when I read what I wrote it sounds callous and I'm sorry. You said inspiring things.
Art helps at times like these. It's not immortal because of the men and women who do it as much as it is because art is a testament to our immortal spirit.
On a more mundane level, I was talking about your painting of the tumbling street in what, to me, looked like Italy:)

sorry I completly forgot about that, anyway I still working on that last touches and adding egg to the painting.
I will be posting it soon

it has been a long frozen moment
breaths held in mind and soul afloat
shock and sleep deprivation
meld into a sort of waking dream
and a recurring hope of waking up
and finding the world the same
... but it isn't
your patients must benefit from your courage
what you do for them makes this a better world

who is 80 something?

Ceu as always... excellent !!!! you speak with your Art... I like that.. aaasp "Artists don't rest" when their Art speaks and crys out....yes they must rest from time to time. If your Art screams from your soul you need times of peace...rest and solitude...

You're right.
