Oil on Canvas 145 x 114 cms

I painted this to cheer myself up one day when I thought all the pictures in the studio were too somber...

You have great diversity in your work, and are succesfully challenging many of the "rules".
I wonder if less definition may have provided more activity and movement
I am enjoying your work, but how long did you have this poor guy hold the pose?.:D
Fred,

This is a second version of "Neill Jumping". The first is less defined, hazier, but I don't have a good transparency of it. Neill came and jumped outside my house for about 40minutes and I got the wildest positions on film. This is one of the tamest, but best suited to a painting

greetings

i simply love the monochromatic expanse of the blue field in proportion to the figure. a minimalist approach in a sense, yet not, since the figure is rendered in a very complex way. What i enjoy and find stimulating in this painting is the relationship of the figure to the ground, in that the figure visually demands this space . wonderfully composed. wow.

Phew, he can come and jump outside (or indeed inside) my house, too, any time he likes! :D

Beautiful, Anthony! ( Both execution and model. :p )

What's wonderful is not only the pose, but how the outfit enhances the fun.

You should PM Allan so he doesnt miss this!

Was confused at first - thought it was Allan O'Marra!

Not my favorite of yours, but a striking piece nontheless.

very striking indeed. i admire how you were able to create an even blue sky that still has texture. nice light on the figure.
