I rarely go to Borders book store (because I can't read :p) and happened upon a publication put out by American Artist called "Pastel Highlights 2".

Looks like a compliation of pastels articles from the magazine, 29 of them from 'Selecting Surfaces' to 'Crosshatching' to painting fruits and skies and urban landscapes. About 180 pages, so it's not a pamphelet.

If you want a full table of contents, lemme know. Here's a place to get it online if you can't find it at the store (there was only one at Borders left).

Just thought you'd all like to know :)

Cheers!

Thanks for the heads up! I just ordered the magazine "Pastel Journal" so I will have to wait a bit, but I have always like the American Artist magazine too.

Got one! I was despairing of my Pastel Journal (March/April issue)ever arriving, and saw this. Within a few days my other magazine arrived, and 3 days later, the May/June issue, so I am OD-ing on pastel magazines right now.I'm enjoying all three.
