This is my first project in about 4 years so I will keep you updated on it. Any helpful tips are wanted!! I will try and post another progress picture sometime this weekend.

Shoope, firstly welcome to WetCanvas:) Your work looks lovely - I look forward to further progress on it.
I smiled when it downloade here - the title made me think of calves and lambs (We have a farm and it's springtime in NZ):D

Thanks halachmi. I was burnt out for awhile on art. Just could not seem to make time for art. That is always the typical excuse isn't it? Since I become an avid internet surfer, I seem to put that first. Well I am going to at least try and keep one project going at all times now. I owe William Huff for getting me involved again.

Well I think Stacy was right on track pushing you back into art...it's amazing what's coming out of your area...all of you...

So very sweet. I love hummingbirds. They just have such a sweetness about them and you have captured that. So glad you have started drawing again; welcome back. :clap: :clap:

I use prismas. And for the second question I am not sure what type of hummingbird it is. The type I am doing has bright greens and yellows. Check out my second progress pic here.
