Headlights on for FREEDOM

Our radio station in New Jersey, 101.5 is asking everyone to put their headlights on for freedom.

Even though it rained here much of the day, I am going to make it a point to have them on.

In the words of Mel Gibson, from the movie Braveheart as he was having his guts tore out of him, "FREEDOM!" Now think of all those Americans on the airplanes who tried desperately to stop the terrorists, but were helpless....

I've noticed a lot of people here in VA have their lights on also. Last night, along the streets some had Christmas type white candles burning in their windows. Today I noticed most of the area has put flags up, whereas up until then only a few routinely put flags up for holidays, etc.
I live in an older cottage community, full of elderly original homeowners. These people sometimes have a hard time even taking care of themselves, but that spirit is there!
