View Full Version : Painting on glass with acrylics...

Something mentioned in another thread made me think of my own experiments with painting on glass using acrylic artist colors. I found that actual glass is NOT a good support for acrylic paint - if the paint is painted directly onto the glass surface. Here is a page of demonstration photos that may hopefully give someone "ideas" for overcoming the poor adherence of acrylics on glass. Or at least new ideas... ;)

Note: The application of acrylic paint to plexiglass is much more durable and lasting than acrylic on ordinary window glass. The demo pane on the web page is about six years old now.
