Helen and Ceu, I assure you I never even thought of Woody Allen! Not that I mind your interpretation in the least....the young girl have anything to do with it?
This man was just a solitary figure on Primrose Hill, a small park in North London. I posted this picture because I thought the texture and glazing might be interesting. It is very small (about 11 x 9") and so the impasto is easier to see in reproduction.
I also like the modern feel of him and the oldy-worldy innocence of her.

I did notice the texture! And frankly I love it.
Tiny (by the perspective we are given by the image of the young girl, balding, not looking where he's going, shell glasses...this does have all the characteristics of Woddy Allen.
