Working out all colors into one piece, I took a pencil sketch and put it into Illustrator and recreated it into vector. Then, I took the Illustrator piece and blanketed it with colors...It really brings everything together in my opinion.

That is seriously beautiful. I love the simplicity of the face and the colours set off the whole thing really well.

Yea, it was all bland to me...now everytime I look at it I istantly like it and I don't know why lol.

Nice way of combining the 2 worlds.

Most of members in this forum are used to raster imaging, so it's cool someone shows what can be done with vectors, be it an external program or using the vectorial new options in PS.

I think you misunderstand...I took the Illustrator line art and colorized it in photoshop.

I only did the line art with Illustrator (vector) the rest (colors and texture) was done with Photoshop (raster).
