I had a lot of problems with drawing young women, especially in pen and ink. This is my yesterday's experiment. Size - A4.

Very nice job on this portrait Sergey :D The subtle shading in the face and the wavy hair is superb!! I did notice that her left eye (our right) is a bit off. The shape of it is not the same as the right eye. Other than that you have done a great job capturing youth in this one :)

In my limited experiences,I found out that if you push too hard trying to achieve a certian result and fail, frustration is usually the outcome. I can only speak for myself when I say that frustration is counterproductive and non condusive to good art work. Be patient and work with it, and in time you will be successful in your endevor. I hope my rambling will help a little.

my goodness her eyes are big, i was really drawn (pun intended and hopefully forgiven) to her eyes. as for what she might have seen, well i just won't go there:evil:
