Just posted this in the Pastels Forum, but thought it would be okay here too. This is Wallis sanded paper with goauche underpainting and soft pastels. About 14x11.
Painted from some photos I took in Maine at Fort Williams, near Portland. Love the rocks and rolling surf up there!!!
Comments and critique are welcome!
Thanks for looking!

Sandy..........Is this near Portland head lite?....Gotta get back up there this year. I miss Newick's too.

Yep....Fort Williams, Portland Head Light...that's the place.
There's a nice lobster roll place at Two Lights, right down the road.
Excellant painting, I love the water movement.

Yea, I knew about the place next to two lites. That's a hard place to find a parking place. The fog horn is too noisey too.
Lobster rolls don't impress me. I like the fish chowder at Newicks and the Lobster Fest in Rockland.
