What a cool slice of life!!!!!! Coffee cups become jewels in this scenerio, kissed by sunlight.
Wish I could see this image while I'm writing this.
I remember the angles of the window, though...... like them. I actually see those angles when I wake up and the world still looks crazy, like a sleepy dream.
Very good painting! Congrats!!!!!!
ps. gonna go look some more/ at the ordinary becoming extraordinary.

again i am reminded of wayne thiebaud who proved that everyday objects could be as powerful as any other if handled properly. you have done that and more. great job.

things look so different on a big monitor.
now I see the 4 big triangular polygons, blue at left, mauve at bottom, sand in the middle reaching to the bottom and very dark color (red?) at right.
The seashells are clustered on a bright bit of sand. A collection from the day's wanderings.
or it is a wall and their shadows are suction cup feet as they climb to safety, drained of coffee already dreaming of cream.
