Linda, Cheryl, Scott,
I know everyone is busy with life but the time is passing for advertising the paintout. If you all want to use any of the graphics that I created for a WWPO, please go and pick the images up on my server.

Thanks Pilan,
I'll send it out to my non-Florida friends who are painters.

Hey did anybody else hear the weather forcast for this week-end? It doesn't sound good and I was wondering if there is a back-up plan or something in case we get rained out.

Hi Brenda. Yeah i've had my eye on that! At this time they expect the worst of the weather to stay south of Crystal River and if any storms do develop at all it shouldn't be until late in the afternoon so i think we'll be ok. :)

I'm crossing my fingers. I have no plan for back up. I hope Cheryl is right. I will be onsite early to try and get as much done as possible, in case we have to fold.

OK...if you guys are game then so am I. I am coming into Crystal River Saturday afternoon to stay overnight so that I can be in Ozello at 7:30 for all the excitement. There is belated interest here in Central Florida and I am busy passing out information, but I don't know who else will actually show up.

That's wonderful Brenda! I'm so glad to hear it. At last report the weather is supposed to be perfect. The system in the Gulf will be across the southern part of the state. If you're going to be in Crystal River early enough you may want to consder Comming to Ocala and having dinner with me. We have some great restaurants and it's only a half hour drive.

Thanks for the offer Cheryl, that's really kind of you. The plan at this point is to check in and go exploring the area since I've never been to that neck of the woods. Everybody says it's so beautiful, and I'd like to see for myself. Maybe I'll even head out to Ozello to get a jump on the painting. ;) I'll just grab something at a fast food restaurant and crash early cause I don't want to miss a minute of the fun. I am so looking forward to meeting everybody, that I hope I can concentrate on painting!

Brenda, enjoy your adventure! There's a great restaurant a bit south of Crystal River called KC Krumps and Kibbies Dockside. One part is fine dining and the other half is a casual waterfront grill. Really good food and it's an awsome place for the sunset. Gulf Port Beach is also a wonderful place for the sunset. Sometimes i drive over there just to get a sunset fix. :)

Dear All,
Well the reporter who was coming begged off the trip :( however, she did ask me to get pics and take good notes for the article for the Gainesville Paper. Since we got a great article from the Suwannee Democrat Paper, I was wondering about submitting one to the Ocala Star Bummer as well. What do you think Cheryl?
I will have to spend some of my time gathering notes instead of painting, but that's ok.I go out to paint several days a week anyway, now that it is cooling off. If any of you who read this could write a few notes about your plein air experiences in advance and bring me a short statement or bio, that will save alot of time.
I can't believe we are finally going to meet.
Love,
Linda
