I would like to see how you use that kind of glass. Seems a bit dull to use them by themselves. Do you mix? match?

I use a bunch held together with tape and pull a stamen cane.

I haven't visited here for a long time. Hi everyone!
These pendants were made from Filigrana Cane encased in Filigrana Cane

The glass is actually remnants from my day job as a furnace glass worker.

When you use a bunch of filigrana together to make a stamen cane, and pull it out, then what is the best way to then apply it to the center of the flower? I used the stamen cane to poke the center of the flower, then let it cool and snapped off a slice into the center of the flower, then encased with a blob of clear, but the stamens weren't really obvious that way. Then I tried another way poking the center of the flower with a poker, then applying the end of the stamen cane hot, but this blurred the stamens some. How do you get those perfect realistic stamens in the center of the flower?

I use it in wings and for some underwater twisties . I made a few swizzle sticks from it when I first started out. Here's the only pic I can find with wings . I'm not sure you can see it but there are strips in the wings on the pig. Btw, I learned this pig from Pam at Torch of Glass here in tallahasse. I put my spin on it , IE the butt. :D
