Did this for a screensaver on my computer at Easter time! Learning to do florals. Hope you all had a beautiful Easter. 8x6 watercolor on 140 lb paper

I love the mottled background. It sets off the lilies very well. The colors are subdued, but work very well together.
I really love the purples and that background..it's just a lovely composition..thanks for the thoughts too..

the background reminds me a bit of the dye batik methods. Unusual and intriguing for this watercolor!

Lovely Lillies! I just recently found out how difficult painting white objects can be, so I appreciate how well you shaded these :clap:
