This is a great picture for someone who says they are new to this. I really like the vibrancy of the colours. I Really like the bird, but the stick he is sitting on bothers me because I can't really tell what it is doing. It seems to cut off in the middle then continue on again.
Overall though, I am really impressed. I think you have found your niche with CP. Please post more. :)

Oh, yes, welcome aboard, always nice to see new faces :) Looks like you are off to a great start with the bright colors you have used here, would like to see it a little bigger though. What size is the original? What paper/pencils did you use???
