Easter symbolizes many things to many individuals; to me it's a fresh start: new beginnings. I wish that today be beautiful for all of you and sets a precedence for a year filled with joy, peace, and hope.

House sitting this week (yay for extra money for art supplies) so exiled from my studio (:( ) ; however, bought me a little black cache' book for half price (yay again) and carrying case for minimal supplies.

The first of some play: Chinese Minimalistic Study: Fabric, gwash (lol ;) ), some critters, and carpet backing on whatever the heck kind of paper is in the book (watercolor I believe).

She knew the night liked her in only a beret.
First shot with oil pastels...

Happy Easter everyone, and Tam. :)
Love your little watercolor book thingies...the way the tree peeks through the checkerboard...and no one can beat you at titles.
Very sexay there in your beret, Tam. I can see why the night likes you that way.
Oo La La.

Thanks, guys, glad you had a good one. :) Here's a few more from da book:

Can you see it?!
playing w/oil pastels

Plight of the bug who finally ditched the aerial map when he realized that all circles created were patterns.
Oil without pastels, aerial map, tulip petals, skeletal leaf, carpet backing, twirly pod thingies that twirl and look like flying insects when they fall of the trees (okay I can't remember the name of 'em)...

Michael, nopes hadn't seen it but will look into it! I bought a Sumi kit so thanks!!
