Hi all,

I'm on the search for the perfect college (if there is such a thing) and thought that perhaps some of you folks on WC would know of some good places to look at. Because I have so many interests besides art, I'm fairly sure that I don't want to go to an art school. Instead, I'm looking for colleges with good art programs, especially in graphic arts. I live in southwestern PA, and don't want to have to fly to school, so it also has to be in a north-eastish area. I'm intrigued be innovative schools like Anticoh, Northeastern University, Berea College, and Hampshire College, but don't know much about their art programs.

Any advice, be it based on experience or hear-say, would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
Carrie

Well, no matter how many interests besides art you have, you're going to have to choose a major at some point. What are your other interests, and what is it that you think you'd like to primarily do?

To tell you the truth, I'm interested in just about everything -- excepting math. As far as what I enjoy doing the most, it would have to be creating things: ie. art. Therefore, I'm looking for a school where I can learn about lots of different things, and will have lots of chances to learn about art and create art.
