View Full Version : linseed oil and tissues
09-04-2001, 03:36 AM
a while ago i was experimenting with oil paints and i got some on the floor and i couldn't find any cloths/paper towels nearby so i grabbed some tissues. the paint was very diluted wiht linseed oil, the tissue paper soaked it right up and created a transparent cloth that i could place on top of those parts of a collage. so i cut out some magazine picutes and layered some tissue paper on top. it had a very neat effect on the outcome of the piece.
