I was hoping there was a thread already started, I hate to start one with my sad bead...it is so frustrating, these big beads take so much time, even with the minor, and use up sooooooo much glass, and the bead release broke and I could not finish shaping it, AND, there must have been a bubble inside or something, cause the other side has a huge "dip" in it. It is 3 and 1/2 inches...Dang, and it has some wonderful reactions on it, a LOT of copper, really neat. The other is Pink opalino with gold and turq and black decorations...Hope you all have a wonderful Thursday - God Bless - Virginia L.

Virginia I love that long bead, it seems very earthly to me, maybe organic is the right term? Itís very lovely, I would like to make long beads like that some day.

Briatha those lentils look so incredibly sparkly, very nice.

Here are some of my practice beads; I'm still trying to get them uniform in size. The pics aren't so great, I can't wait to stop scanning and figure out my new camera.

What a wonderful, little gift that will be for your wedding favors!! You'll have to post pics. of the finished pieces! So... you must be getting married in Vegas?? Have fun... sounds like a blast.

My bestfriend is getting married in a month, and I'm making the jewelry for the bridesmaids. I'm her maid of honor. I've used just pearls and Swarovski crystals, and put it all on memory wire. It has turned out really pretty. Although, I've still got 4 more necklaces to make AND the earrings. :( My time is running out too!! eeeeks!!!

Great stuff this AM. I have not been a big fan of lentils until lately...and now I am really wanting the lentil stamp. Ya'll are coming up with such cool lentil beads, you might make me give in! I love the variety of patterns and styles that you can get in them. But the price...ouch.
Have you seen Corina's new stamp? Just up today, I think...it's a lollipop shape...really fun.
I have been working on some big pendants, and some big beads...been inspired by Brad (that one today is a real WOW!)
Have a great day everyone. It's raining here, so it will be a productive one for me! I've already updated my website (which rarely happens, so I am feeling productive!)

Wow! Amazing stuff on here today! Too many for me to comment on all, I'm busy cutting sheet glass today. Every now and then I have to come back in the a/c, get a break, and play on the computer, WC! of course! What a mess, all those micro-shards everywhere!

Here's a big focal made with the 2003 coral (I think that's what coral it is!), the sort of pinkish shade. I would love to try that new mango-orange color! And some "camouflage".

Hi, everyone. Wonderful show today, as usual. Jim, like the new "flame" shape. Laura and Carla - great use of Ocelot Spots. I have not been able to get anything out of mine that looks as nice, but need to play more. Brad, as always, THUD. Amy, what an elegant heart shape.

Here's one of mine from the kiln this morning using Val's Iris Gold frit for the metallic dots. Love this stuff!

Beautiful Beads everyone!! I promise I will show my first wonky bead that I make no matter how it looks  . You all have been so supportive and shown all of your work, I think the least I can do is show my first bead when I finally get to it.
