I posted this little figure first in the sculputre section but thought why not show it here too. This figure is about 12 inchs tall I'm not sure of the wood type, I found it as a fallen branch in the woods.

I REALLY like your work.
There are aspects of it that remind me of Goldsworthy, the link to Nature, the found branch...its form working with you ...there is a sensitivity to what you do that I find highly appealing.

What a beautiful piece of marbled wood. I love your vision for fallen things; the transformation into preservation through the beauty of art. You take what nature provides you vs. taking what you want (re: sawing off branches...).

It's like he's just taken his first breath of life and is stretching into the wonderment of the world before him: joy that's beautiful and frightening.
