there are so many things to enjoy in this painting. i find the eyes enchanting, peering over her knees that way. the colors are full of joy and the brushstrokes echo the emotion. i like the odd shaped knees... the long strokes of paint in the legs bring the legs into the foreground. cindy, great picture !

the background form and color relates to the figure parts
the right lower dark is important to the head darks
i like the colors

the first thing that happened
is that i felt a sharp and sudden
intake of breath
then i remembered to exhale
after a while all the while
drinking the color and light
mmm and mmmmmmmm

It reminds me of a pastel I saw once. I love the combination of colors. I agree with most everyone else, it has a lot of light.

Maybe I'll be the only one to tell this.
I like the minimalistic drawing of her face.
A little here tells a lot. I've once written it about Billy's portrait, and this one has it too. I don't like numerous annoying details. When a few lines form an expression - that's for me.
