there's a mystery, allure to this
interesting in the state of construction it's in, an unfinished self portrait seems a statement in itself.
yes it does ZOTMA, but the thing that I did I wipped off all the colors that were there and this is what I got. and now I don't know, it feel like i'm naked and lost

"feel like i'm naked and lost" well that maybe what you want the image to convey... there is alot of emotion in it...

i agree ceu, that this is very powerful as it is. it's so hard when you're working on a piece and you get to a place you like before you think you are finished. it's hard to just let it be. i would like to see maybe a little more work in the hair but otherwise i think it's done.
yes I do have to work on the hair part, I will post a new version when i'm done or think i'm done:)

that is my favourite part
of any painting
the part where the colors
are whiped away
and you work what's left
what emerges below
is always good
and this painting is good
ok and something happened and i'm back to what? I don't know , but working on cardboard it does it it's toll on and more painti was necessary to stop from falling apart. so back to the begning.

you're doing that
paint several paintings
over top of each other
i know it well
this other new painting
is very good too
it's not or my not done yet, it's going to take a long time for me to finish this one or be happy with. thanks impulse:)

I think the first has more pathos. The second is more fun; light hearted.
