Ordered some dichro this morning and had to justify $5.00 for shipping one ounce of glass, so I snatched up some Pastel Uranium Yellow. Mostly because I have never tried it, but THINK I might have gotten some as a bonus in an order I got from Monique on ebay.

I am curious to see what you all have done with it, so let's see 'em! Please???
:D

Funny you should ask....this is part of a set-to-be that I just cleaned this morning. A few more beads are in the kiln now.

Anne,

I think this set is beautiful! I am fairly new to ebay and sometimes get really excited and other times I am sad I just sold something that took a long time for very little. I'm sure you know how that goes. You still have two days, I'm sure it will go up, even if it's last minute. At least your little fishie has bids. I am selling a set of three fish, no bids AND it's a relist!

best wishes,
Judy :cat:

Ok so I had to quickly go see if mine were cool so I could clean them and photograph them so I can get them posted before hubby and I go out to dinner.
With 3 kids we only get to do that every 6 months or so :crying:
these beads ALL have the pastel uranium base with mosaic green or rubino and sage green.

My favorite combination with uranium yellow is transparent sage, ink and opaque lavender.

I am really enjoying seeing what everyone else puts with the uranium yellow. Here is a set I did using the opaque and the transparent. It makes a nice neutral base to use with just about any other colour.

Beautiful beads! I just tried on a dress tonight at the mall that had Uranium Yellow in it, with aqua and cream. I'm trying that tomorrow!

Hello, I just did this set with the uranium yellow, the handmade teal and this handmade lavendar. I really wanted them to go together better, but they don't. I was gonna sell them separately anyway, but was hoping they looked good together - God Bless - Virginia L.

I love this color, especially with pale greens, pinks, and teals. I had an awful time photographing it, but that's really not my strong point anyway. These are still not good, but I think you can get the idea.
