Ok, if you followed the last rose thread I have worked out an idea for an I/O rose. This is still just an experiment. Hey, like the bubbles...er...early morning dew!

I liked the first one better, Mikey ~ not that this one isn't detailed or lovely, but I like the three dimensional effect. ;)

It may not be totally "roselike", but I think it has great potential as an abstract design. I myself really like the bubbles too!

Here ya go Mike, I've ben trying to perfect these for a while and I think I've got it close. The marble is the first one I did and then I started blending colors to get the varigated(sp) look. You're getting there. :clap:

very good Mike. I do the color mixing on some flowers and have tried it with red but have not been happy with the reds. This one I laid down a spiral with a clear cased stringer. The next rose will be done with the same stringer but laid down petal style.
