This one from 2 years ago too. 20" by 16" ,acrylic, canvas.It does look a little bit darker then the real painting.

Julia I like your painting. I also like actual borage plants for attracting bees. That just gave me an idea. Although I don't usually do flower paintings, I'll try to get a close-up picture of a bumble bee on a plant and do that.

Thank You Domer! I love flowers and gardenning. I do not paint flowers much though. I grow borage for salads, it has very refreshing flavor.:)
I painted an insect of my first still life just for fun and one person at the critique forum told me he doesnot understands what the insect there for and that I should sick to the only one subject there, fruits. And I responded that it was too bo-ri-ng
