Ordie...o4...THIS is fantastic. The candled illumination of the midnight blue is wonderful. The faces look like masks...
And all the tribes of the earth mourned for the world...
There's a very reverent aura to it; something to be respected: the preciousness of life.
This new direction of yours, you wear it well. :)

Truly enjoying this 'Civil Disobedience' series. These could be considered very appealing eye candy if one somehow chose not to think and IMO there is nothing wrong with that. But you have gone well beyond eye candy. The faces are tortured; the mood is angry, the scenes are rippling with tension.

The faces/masks reflect sadness and resignation to me and the candles above symbolic of hope and unity.
Very thought provoking and very moving !
Cheers Dahzl :)

illuminated dark and tribal
having the feel of the more restless,
and instinctual side of humanity
ritual aggro vigil
there are strata to this work
that I find interesting compositionally

for me this is the strongest of the bunch. great depth and sense of color and just the right balance of sadness and menace.
i like the primitivism of these.
