View Full Version : Okay, 5th Month goodies - oink, oink

I think I've been posting my progress once a month or so, so here are the results of my 5th month on the torch. During this time I went to KC for a show and met all sorts of great people (George P., Mike E., Aaron W., Dan G., and a host of others). I was able to view multiple demos, pick up pointers, and buy one of the best books written for beginner/intermediate marble makers (by Drew Fritts).

Anyway, here they are... Let me know what you think!

those are stunning marbles for your 5th month! But then again if you are torching daily for hours, those hours build up fast! I really love those striped flowers. -Mary

They are simply marvellous!!!! The striped flower marbles are my favorite, but I like them all!
I just got my copy of the Drew Fritts book last week, but I haven't had the nerve to actually try a marble yet. I have the certain feeling that I will end up with a spherical ball of molten glass....freely rolling around....wreaking havoc. Can't shake that feeling!!

I was stunned when you posted your first show & tell and I'm equally stunned every month. Wowzer! Your progress is amazing and I'm truly delighted at watching your glass talents unfold.

These are absolutely stunning marbles and they're quite an inspiration to me.

The florals and the color spirals are my favorites.

Great work! I hope I'm half that good after 5 months of marble making!

Keep it up!
