This is one which I posted in Pastels a few weeks ago. It is 22x28, soft pastels on Wallis grey sanded paper. It was underpainted with gouache.
It is a view at Fort Williams, Portland, Maine, from a photo I took last summer.

Nice work with those pastels. There is lots of movement in water and sky and nice colour harmony as well. Very nice work.

WE love it up in Maine and I had fun doing this.
I had done a similar one before and it hung over the mantel in our house in Maine. SOme friends came to visit and they bought it. After they left my husband said he was sorry I had sold it! So I promised I would make him something to replace it. This is it.
