Where do you find all your large hole sterling beads that fit onto 12 gauge wire? Most sites that sell Bali don't tell you how large the holes are so it can be hit or miss. Does any one have a favorite source they would like to share?

Amy, I buy my bali from www.Jatayu.com She's got great stuff and she'as a wire worker, so everything has holes that specifically accomodate 12 ga. wire. However, this last buying spree, I did at a bead show and bought almost $200 worth of HillTribe and Bali...sounds like a lotta money, but when it's priced by the gram, you don't walk away with a whole lot. LOL. I also always carry around a 12 ga. wire sample in my purse so I can test the bead sizes, and if I'm ordering online, I -always- send an email asking about the beads I like and inquiring about the hole size. It's a pain, but until ppl start to post those things, I keep asking.

I think Misty posted a link to a Bali site in her Favorite Links thread here in this forum as well.

Happy hunting!

You might find that www.firemountaingems.com has what you need at wholesale prices. Online or catalog, their pictures of hole sizes are quite comprehensive.

I bought some of these caps, from this seller, and I love them. Holes are plenty big for the 2mm, 12 gauge wire.

Thanks for the link...I bought them. I have also known about Jatayu but she has a limited selection. Here's a link to one I like: http://www.bali-bead-shop.com/index.htm
caps 0001 and 0005 fit on 12 gauge and some of the spacer 0014...some of them the holes were a little to small.

That's great Amy, I am glad I can help. (They are even better than pictured. :), and I always have had good experiences with this seller.)

Hey AmyK, *waves frantically* Long time no see! talk, chat.... Anyway, in St Louis there is a place I go to that has large hole beads . Both plain and bead caps, it might be easier to phone them. http://www.nationalsupply.com/

I started a thread about this awhile back to find Bali/silver beads that fit on the bangle bracelets. I am not sure how that compares to the wire you're using--anyone know? Anyway, here is a thread with a small list of large hole Bali (http://www.wetcanvas.com/forums/showthread.php?t=138368).
