I'm having trouble getting a feel for this piece
is the writing from photoshop after the pic was taken?
hard to get an idea of the size given this particular shot
hard to see what's going on in the piece (again prolly cause of the size)
any way of reshooting?
maybe some details too?
(so demanding :D)
are the edges irregular as they seem?
looks like a cool piece, I'm intrigued to see more (please)

I see the fish, thanks for the clarification
and I think the irregular edges/surface sounds very cool
unfortunately this venue doesn't show that off so good
looks like you have nice stroke flow goin on and colors too

This reminds me of watching fish swim under rippled water reflecting the colors of the day: sky blue, blade green, tree branch brown, virgin bud-blush: all the colors of the world that paint fish rainbow.
I had to edit to say what a unique way to portray the size!!! LOL! I thought the measurements were a part of the composition!! Doh!! However, I do think it distracts from it by leading the eye away from the painting.
