I am trying to put letters on beads with stringers. I have some letters down but I still need practice. Any tips?? I am making some beads for high school moms. I want to do numbers and initials. Maybe I will just get sterling letters.
Just a thought!

Putting letters on beads is how I used to pratice my stringer controll. They also make wonderful bracelets. The one thing I can tell you is what helped me out is to turn down my flame when adding the stringer, then use your tools like a pick to get the corners of the "N" to be sharp. Also a razor blade tool can help you to straighten out your lines. Don't melt in your stringer at all before using your tools to help get your lines straight and corners sharp. Then melt in just enough to insure they will not pop off.
Hope this helps,

This may sound strange..., but some letters are easier to write backwards ie: build it right to left. That way you are not melting it in too much. I hope that makes sense.
