View Full Version : Scared Fritless! (A Bead Painting Challenge)

I'd like to challenge everyone to make a bead decorated only by painting with stringer! No frit, no foils (although silvered stringers are okay), no bells and whistles. The bead I'd posted on the "Painting With Stringer" thread was my third attempt; I'll attach photos of the first two as soon as I snap some!

Would we be able to use different colors in the stringer, like a pulled cane? Or just one-color stringer?

I'm on it!
After my St. Patty's day, Monkey, Celestial challenges...
I'm lovin it! :o

Hmmm... I think we should keep the stringer as simple as possible, although using silvered stringer would be acceptable. The variation in colors would be achieved through layering and surface manipulation, rather than by using twisties.
So, plain or silvered stringer only! Challenging, no?

whoot! whoot! I KNEW there was a reason I just got a lot of stringer in! LOL!
