NYC/Long Island Patron/Collector - Seeks lessons

I have always admired art and now I have the urge to create it.

I would like to learn post impressionist techniques. I have little experience but very strong motivation.

I need 1-on-1 lessons in painting acrylic or oil on canvas; I want to create portraits and still lifes.

I am in the Nassau County Long Island area; weekends work best for me. I can travel to the city if necessary.
