well sorry, but its another peacock...

i started it today and realy exciting about the things that can be done with CP. i think i'll buy myself a new set, since my little sister need the one i'm using for school...
are there any good CP you can recommend of?

anyway, there r a lot of peacocks lately. i would appreciate if u'll give me some notes about my peacock, especially you, the "peacocks-artist" . how can i make i better ? dont afraid 2 b tough...

thanks

as u can see, my peacock is in progress. (remember to read it from right 2 left, like in Hebrew...) . i attached all the levels so u can tell me if there is a mistake on the work-basics.

Your peacock is coming along nicely. I would lighten up on the feathers on his crown, they seem too stiff. Remember feathers will blow in the wind. I would suggest finding a bird feather and blowing on it to see what I mean. Pull it apart and study its make up. I enjoy the challenge you have given the eye. I am not Hebrew so it took me a minuet to understand.

I don't see any mistakes, but I agree with Miss Mouse would like his crown to have some strays in it ;) . Be free and let them blow in da wind :D

halachmi, this is really good, I like how you have shown him evolving, a nice idea. You have really shown the vibrancy of a peacock. :)
CP is a great medium isn't it, I love it because you don't need to do much to set up for a drawing, unlike paint. I use Derwent brand, but that's mainly because it is the most popular here and I wasn't sure what to buy myself :D They are really good, but you might want to consider buying more than the 24pack (If you can) because they don't really give you the best selection of colours in the small packs.
Good luck with your new found medium :)

He is gorgeous and so very lifelike. You won't believe this but just four months ago we had a peacock land in the neighborhood. It was just after the earthquake we had here in Seattle so we figured he got misplaced. All the neighbors here in the culdesac have taken them under their wings, LOL. We have named him Percy.

Anyway your peacock is very nice and like I said before I got carried away with my mouth, he is so lifelike. :)
