This is drawing is mainly a study in anatomy though the scene could be perhaps the resurrection of christ. As you can see the scanner needs some maintenance.

These are very compelling drawings Eochaidh!

What are you using as reference? They look very sculptural. I like the unfinished look of the faces, but I seem to need some resolution to the arms...they trail away a little thin.

I would like to see what they look like without the outlining.

Very powerful and ethereal at the same time. I am looking forward to more.

This probably sounds stupid but, could you elaborate on what you mean by "What did you use as a reference?"

In making these drawings, were you looking at live models, photographs, sculptures or other art, or did you create these purely from your memory and imagination?

I've posted my main comments in another thread of yours, so I would like to comment this image.
If you are looking for classic proportions (may be you are not) the chest/shoulders area must be much stronger (at least wider than hips) if you're drawing a man. The hands too (but maybe you want to show his weakness).
In my personal opinion shins have too strong muscles.
But after all my grumbling this is GREAT. Very expressive.
Please feel free to give a lot of comments of any kind to my works. I hope to post figure studies too.

so great echo , but seems that u have problems with hands and foots (as i do, and sometimes wont finish them as u do!!;) )
