Hi All,
I'm new to WC but wanted to ask all you photography folks for some help. I have my own site for my work but as you all can tell if you look I really stink at taking pictures of my art. They lose all detail & vibrance. Most have very fine lines and of course when I first took the pictures I made the mistake of taking them inside and had a heavy flash wash out everything (trying to replace these) anyway I only have a simple 35mm camera to work with so I would appreciate if you all could take a look at the kind of work I do and make any and all suggestion. I would especially like to know if there is a way to have all the fine lines (details) show. I know nothing at all about photograph so please suggestions, is there a certain way I should let the sun hit them, avoid total sun? I need to know all I can I just purchased more film and would like to get some nice pictures of my newest paintings on my site but taking the pictures worries me; I don't want to waste film again and of course showing art work you want it to look it's best.
