Check this guys operation for shipping paintings. Its where I want to be.

By the way, if anyone knows this operation or knows the guy, I'd like some virtual lessons to pack mine that way.

He looks like he's got this thing well figured out, that's for sure. And lots of sales too by the look of it.

I'd just like to know how he does it. I would like to ship like that, definetely leave an impact on my customers.

He answers that question "Professionally". Wether he does it himself or not, it's the way that paintings are packaged to travel when a professional company does it. Looks great, but is way overkill. Totally safe though! :)

He has always sold well. He is a gallery artist, so probably knows the packaging company through the galleries. The amount he sells, and at the price he sells at, allows him to do this.

Proably wouldn't hurt to give a packaging company a ring, tell them how much you send on average, and get a quote. You never know. :)
