I want to list some of my prints framed for sale on ebay.

Which is the better way to frame with the white border
around or to the edge of the print and no white border?

These are the new prints:

Thanks for any help,

Hi,

I would definitely frame without the white border. I looked at your gorgeous prints and I found the white around them a bit distracting.

Good luck!

Thanks Laura for your help, I was not sure if you needed
to leave the white border or not.

Hi, I don't know how you guys do it, but I have tried to sell my prints on e-bay and ended up owing an arm and a leg to e-bay and not selling anything. What am I doing wrong? I will try to attach one of my prints so you could see the quality. Please give me some advice about how you do this. I would really appreciate it. Thanks, Lorrainejoy

Hi Laura,

I think a lot of the people buy on ebay for the color.
Maybe some color in the background.
I find the two highlights in both eyes to be a bit
distracting, on my screen I see 4 bright highlights
2 in each eye.
hope this helps,
Cathy

Cathy...

Wonderful artwork! And, with great colors to catch the eye of the eBay buyer!

I would suggest that you consider digitally putting the prints into mats and frames (without the white border, unless that looks better) for your eBay listings. Makes a wonderful, professional presentation... and alot of customers cannot envision what an artwork will look like when "finished off" with framing. Just make sure to say that the mat and frame are not included in the auction/sale.

Wishing you great success selling these on eBay... I will be watching!

I suggest not using a white border to frame your prints.
Best of luck to you!

Thanks all, I liked them better without the white border
also, but wasn't sure if I need to show it.
I think I am going to show framed and no white border.
