This month's project in the fantasy forum is one that might appeal strongly to those interested in classical themes. I've found that the subjects of fantasy and classical work often overlap. Classical mythology and religious stories are often the subject in both genres.
This month's fantasy project is called Images of the Apocalypse. The project is to illustrate apocalyptic events as they are described in literature. So, biblical stories of the flood and the last judgement or some stories from mythology are fair game and have been popular subjects for classical artists of the past.
So, don't let the "fantasy forum" portion scare you away. Take a look and join in if you are interested. :)
