I am starting to feel human again!!! Hubby is finally starting to feel better, even though he has to go in the hyperberic chamber 5x a week and get plasmaphoresis 2 x a week. His wound is looking better and most of all he has his appetite back...he lost 35 pounds !!!! So I celebrated with some bright happy beads!!

Trey, WOW, that focal is gorgeous!
Linnea, I love the purple egg bead and your pink alabaster. I don't see bubbles in the pink, either. When I tried it it bubbled all over the place.
Harriet, I'm always so happy to see your beads. They are always superb. I hope your husband continues to improve as quickly as possible. Prayers to both of you and your family as you weather this tough time.

Week eleven on the torch for me. After losing a lot of time over the holidays I managed to make a few things on Christmas day and a few things yesterday.

I bought myself Passing the Flame for Xmas and finally finished reading it Sunday. WOW! I'll have tons of projects to learn for ages to come. Here's my first cosmic bead.

Finally screwed up the nerve to play with some dichro I got at Beadfest. This bead was inspired by a gorgeous purple bicone that DesertDreamer brought to the beader's dinner. It's periwinkle with purple dichro, light emerald, and amethyst.

WHOO-HOO!!! I know how hard this has been on you and your husband, and how much the weight loss matters.... with my MS, I can drop 25-30 pounds during an "episode" and all the folks who want to lose weight don't understand how hard it is to have the converse problem. Now, get ALL those foods that he LOVES!!!

Everyone's beads are soo beautiful!
Harriet...of course yours are happy beads! I don't think your husband has any idea how big his "cheerleading squad" really is. I know there are other like me who don't post much but are monitoring his progress and pulling for him daily.
An extra big hug for you for being such a trooper for him.
