Laurentian

Well now that we have this forum I can ask my question.

A long time ago when the dinosaurs walked the earth and I was in grade school in Canada I had a set of coloured pencils called "Laurentian".
I dearly loved them and thought they were the best around. Another brand I had were called "Eagle Canadiana".
I would like to know if these two brands are still made and if anyone knows where I can get them.
Kinda like a fascination for crayola. :D

I tried to see if Staples USA branch sold them still, but the results showed nothing. I could not access the Staples Canada branch as I don't have a canadian zip code. Maybe try there???

Leaflin, Laurentian pencils are sold everywhere around here (southern Ontario) Walmart, Zellers, any store that would have office/ craft supplies would have them. I'm not sure about the Eagle Canadiana brand, they sound vaguely familiar... but I'm not sure. Check out currys.com or loomisandtoles.com you'll probably find them there too. (now that I think about it I think I have a box of Laurentian's laying around somewhere.....got them at Zellers last year)

My first post on WC.... I'm nervous.... Hi all!

Leaflin, leaflin, where art thou! I have good news. I've found a new, boxed set of 60 (yup, sixty) Laurentien (spelling correct) CP's for $12.50 (label says $20 full price) right here in Alberta.

But here's the thing: I don't live in Alberta, just visiting.... Ontario's home and I leave to return in a few days.

Soooo...... Please tell me real soon if you would like me to purchase these pencils. I'll send them south and you can pay me when they arrive. There's no sales tax in Alberta (7% GST, however) and I suspect shipping would be reasonable.

Let me know, and they're yours!

(By the by... at 12 bucks for 60, I wouldn't want to try anything requiring permanence with these things.....)
