Okay, first I laid in my first set of washes and quickly saw my alizarin crimson sky fade out as it dried!

Next set of washes to darken. I covered my ultramrine/viridian first wash with a deep green of ultramarine/cadmium yellow/touch of black. A little detail implied in the mountains.

Then, tonight, I went over the washes again to darken, put in my trees, a little more detail in the mountains (but not too much http://www.wetcanvas.com/ubb/smile.gif ), and a little wetting and lifting for the mist.

Not quite done, but soon. . .

Thanks to Dennis and Mal for this project. A whole heap of fun and I like the way it's turning out. I think this will definitely be going in the sale next month.

This is neat...we have several now showing their step by step approaches to this project. I think it helps raw beginners to learn what works best for them too.
Looking good nnelson... ! http://www.wetcanvas.com/ubb/smile.gif Carol
