Well here it goes. My "public" work is realistic in nature. But the work I do to paint the inside out is often abstract and maybe a little dark. Here is one I documented before I painted something pretty over it. "winter woman" 24x30 oil on canvas

I'm new to "abstract". What exactly is abstract in that Picture ?

Mc Laughlin, guten morgen uebrigens, I realize that this is more figurative than abstract....but I was anxious to get my 2 cents in first....now how's that for being an adult. I have more work on the way that is truly abstract but it has not yet been inputted into the computer via the camera.

this was NOT a negative comment. I was and still am very interested. In fact I like your work very much, but I have problems with the term abstract in general.
How you define abtract ?
