Hi everyone,

After seeing a post from someone in Australia (Teanne or Eliza?) about Sellathon being against the rules there, I thought I'd better check if we are allowed to use it in the UK. I received a letter back today that mostly answers my question. Here is the body of it:

"Hello,

Thank you for writing.

Having a link in your eBay shop to the website www.sellathon.com is
currently not in violation of our listing policies.

However, I do caution you to continue monitoring our site for changes in
our policies. This will ensure that your listings will not be taken down
unexpectedly in the future.

For more information on our Links Policy, please visit the following
URL:

http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/policies/listing-links.html

For a better understanding of our listing guidelines and how they affect
the way you list your items, please visit the following URL:

http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/policies/listing-ov.html

Please know that the web site www.sellathon.com is in no way endorsed by
ebay nor is it a product of eBay.

I hope this information has been helpful. It was my pleasure to be able
to assist you. Thank you for being a part of the eBay community.

Best wishes,

Darna Deveraux
eBay Customer Support"

I assume she specifically mentioned my shop because the other question I had written about was shop-related. I'm taking it to mean that I can post the link on any pages that go in my shop, which is automatically any listing, but will write back just to be sure. I haven't gotten around to reading the policies on the link, so plan to have a look there. I just thought other UK sellers might want to know.

Hi Jolie
Do you mind if I copy this to the Aussie ebay sellathon thread please?

Feel free to. I haven't decided whether to bother with purchasing it yet, but feel alot better about it if I do.
