Beautiful bracelets, Karin!
Traci - that set is absolutely dreamy!
Great stoppers, Jean! I love the top left and bottom right!
Aimee - Wow!!

Here's my 11th hour Corina challenge entry. I'm very excited that I've finally figured out how to do a decent tiger bead with Bullseye!! :D

This is my first showcase posting, since I am a person of the night I thought I should post it here! :) This is a set made with moretti glass, black, pea green and yellow, not sure what the coral color is it wasn't labeled. I have been torching for about a month now on a hothead, let me know what you think

I think I am finally figuring out the camera I got in August! LOL

I hope so anyway.

Here is a set of intense black on ivory that I did a while ago.

Also a set with aqua eyes on white, with aqua spacers..

Wow - kbeads, only a month? Look out world! I love what you are doing, especially the whirlpool twists (my current addiction). I'm looking forward to seeing your work in additional showcases!

Fairy - beautiful! I love tigers :-)

Aimee - is that new or old copper green? What a great color combo!

Jean - those are amazing gifts.. you have very lucky friends/family.

Karin - lovely bracelets.. did your computer get fixed?

Have a good night all,

FL (in Maryland)

I LOVE all these beads, especially yours!!! This is the third time for me to make dying beads...but the first for someone I don't know. They're a commission going to Austin w/ me for delivery. No big deal, but I kinda' like the ordered colors. Love, Helen

FL, the old copper green. I bought a pound when Frantz "discovered" they still had some and were limiting everyone to 1 lb. each. Using it v-e-r-y carefully!;)

I haven't tried the "new" copper green yet, I guess I will eventually unless the factory figures out how to make the old stuff!

Nice rose! But what are "dying beads," Helen? Not sure I understand the context. And hey, Austin's pretty close to us ---- so let us know if you've got a little while to pop around for curry-in-a-hurry!

Hi Lorinda, I'll be traveling with family to see family, and Houston's not the destination this time. We have 2 sisters to see in Austin, short time for trip, but less time away from torch. Armadillo Bazaar is one destination, and the Fireflies meeting is another. But thanks for thinking of me.
Dying beads are beads to die with. I think beads give strength, and courage and all kinds of other great feelings, they do for me! My nextdoor neighbor and friend died a while back, and I made her an encased rose...I think they buried her w/ it. The second time was another friend, and her precious granddaughter wears her beads still. This was a commission from my sister's friend, for her mil, since she knew I was coming to Austin...sounds like my sister's been bragging about her artist sister.
But one of these days I might pop over. I wanted to come to that bead society sale, but it was the weekend after quilt festival, which drained me...next year I'll forego the quilts for beads! Love, Helen

Aha! A short enough list that I won't miss anyone! Whew!
First my showoff so I don't erase it off the clipboard...
Way back when I was in high school, I convinced a friend that denim was an animal that was hunted to extinction so teenagers could look fashionable. (She believed me and was very upset 'til I let her off the hook.) And if the picture's not loading, right now you're saying "SO WHAT? What does that have to do with beads?" Well.... May I introduce Leigh Vy, the cutest of all the sheep beads I've made yet. She's merrily looking around Corina's frit challenge, too... (Hugs to Mr. Booger for the stunning pic. I think she was a great model...)
Ok, on to ogling everyone else's goodies!!
Karin - Lentilicious bracelets! Very fun!
Trey - OMG, I love those... Too perfect on the sand.
Emjay - Those winestoppers look space age! Wouldn't that make someone buy a better bottle of wine to not shame the stopper. :D
PolyAimee - *drool* Not normally a pastel person, but things like that could change me! Beautiful!
Nancy - Nice touch on etching the end spacers. The whole set looks yummy. Good luck!
kbeads - That's a first set you should be proud to post! Nice colors and shaping!
FL (in Maryland) - Gorgeous first set and NO I'm not saying the second one is bad, but wow that first is stunning.
Helen - Dying beads... Wow. I can't think of anything else that would make me try so much harder than normal to achieve perfection. Beautiful work.
Good evening, everyone!

Kbeads, those are great fun beads!

I tweaked your picture just a tad so everybody can see them better. I sincerely hope you don't mind...just trying to help. Hope to see you in more threads!
