Jim, I've seen icicles once in my life, "The Freeze" back in 1985! That's the year the orange groves in Orlando were almost destroyed completely. I picked up a few off the ground that fell off the telephone wires. Amazing that could we could have "ice" in deep S. Fla!

And yes, your icicles do look so real!

Alex! I'm just lovin' what you are doing with boro! Wow! I'll bet you're hooked already! :D

Here's what's going up for my second round on eBay. The pics look really lousy uploaded on my listing site, so they have to be re-taken today. Going to try light gray background paper instead, and change my camera settings, again! Grrrrr!

My First 3-strand necklace! Now I need to go buy a black turtleneck to really show it off. Don't you love how our clothes are bought based on Jewelry requirements? Hee Hee

Lisa, I love what you do with the soft colors! The photography has a nice, soft feminine quality about it, I like it.

Maria, that necklace is STUNNING! I can't stop looking at it.

Steph, whay color is that green? Those are really cool!
I Love the red necklace too!!
Great job guys!
We have 5 ' long icicles here in Alaska!! We have to knock them down so they don't drop and stab someone!!

Thanks for the compliment Alex! Those at the top are my very first etched set! Just got the Etchall and tried out a few wonkies, then went ahead and took the plunge with the set, pun intended! :D

Suzy - The etched transparent spacers are Moretti sea green, the turquoise swirlies are 4 colors - turquoise, sky blue, nile green, and petroleum green. The green on the bottom is copper green swirled with a little petroleum green. I LOVE copper green! Don't we all, huh?! ;)

BTW - What a gorgeous painting! :)

Amazing work as usual everyone.

I only have one thing to show. Nothing else was really worth taking a pic of. Hopefully I'll have better luck this weekend. If not, I'm sure there'll be plenty to drool over here.

Pattie those beads are gorgeous. You have totally got the silver window pane effect DOWN!

I've been waiting on a silver order so I can try this, too! I've been dying to work with some silver - now that I see all the amazing stuff people here have done! (nod to Micheal Barley)

anyway here's a very sloppy and quick pic from beads from yesterday - the broken giraffe is there because he is my first giraffe! the back half of animals often crack off before I get them into the kiln - Sculptural work is hard for me, but I really want to do it...

the bee is old, but his flowers for his necklace are new- I like them. the mermaid is crappy, but I'm slowing trying to make mermaids again. I haven't tried one until now, since I've had my own equipment, but long ago visiting others studios I used to try...she's ugly, but I'll keep trying.

the red and pink is for a special order, but the backside is fugly, so I'll have to try again (blackness on the pink part) Oh and I like this vessel bead (my fifth one) so much that I'm putting it up even though the wire isn't even finished up! I'm using Val's frits here...

i was at the KPFA craftsfair today and if you'all could've seen what I saw. The most wonderful fuse work I've ever seen. It would make all of you look at your kilns in a whole new light. Why oh why didn't I get their name and web address? I'll post it tomorrow after finding out from my friend.

the fusers made tiles and then made a furniture piece with them, that believe me, if I had 450$$ I woulda' bought it in a snap (who doesn't need an incredibly cheerful CD case/table top with hand made tiles of gardens and insects and sunshine with fused drawer pulls and little drawers and colorfully painted, too??) They also made these lovely stand up pieces that sit on a shelf - can't describe...will get internet address.

I was working a booth with my lavender farm friend - wonderful organic lavender creams, lotions etc.

I want one of those biz carder holders Linnea! by the way!

Cathie, your bracelet is darling but I am in awe of your stained glass! My one attempt at stained glass was a total failure, your work is beautiful!
