10x8" Acryllic on Masonite Board
The color washed out during resizing
This was one of the most peaceful sunsets I have ever witnessed, I painted this from memory, though I think the colors were even more intense in real life.

Welcome to WetCanvas!
It is evident that this location made an impact on you...very good...from memory! You've captured the serenity of the place.
The only area I see that would need adjusting is on the left. The water's edge aims straight down the side against the picture plane. If you could pull it more horizontal or vary the edge slightly it would work better with the rest of the painting. Nice work on the land masses and tree.

Thank you, I'll keep in mind not to make a straight edge along the frame line. I went back and looked at this in the frame and the edge of the frame covers just enough to take out a small portion of the beach and masks the straight water edge, though this brings up the thought that, in the frame does it look like my ocean is leaking away???
Thank you for the help,
