Tada....here is my first every acrylic on canvas! It's going up for sale tomorrow, starting at 9.99. It's 8x10. I am so happy with the way it turned out - wish me luck!!!! It's a stylized tomesode - a formal kimono for a married woman.

I hope I get as much for this as I do my minis. I'm worried that all my business is from miniature lovers.

oops I should mention the back is metallic shiny gold, and the peacock is all irridescent colors (doesn't show so well in the scans). It really looks lovely with the light shining on it!

Thanks Te! I think it looks very home-decorish - not intentional but maybe good!

I went ahead and listed it tonight. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3644354768

I think I finally really like my auction layout - what do you think? Anything I could add?

Make it at least $29.95...otherwise you're pricing it too close to your minis...this is larger and more important...make it so! whatever you do, don't undersell yourself!

I've seen paintings like your cat paintings done a little bigger by people like Tasha for example go into the $100's

How about going up a few sizes with them and doing them, say, 10 x 16?

Start them at $39 or something like that and FP them.

Do a search and see what size is selling best. One went the other day in the 400's!

I love the design of the painting! The simplicity of it and the beauty of the peacock are wonderful! I hope you have a very successful auction with this.
