Got out of the house and it only takes one hand to draw.
his is Glenna, she is the model for my first class with Sally Strand.
Just throw some words at me. I really am in the mood for any and all input.
love ya

I like it just as it is, her mood is right, so is her position and colors. I think you capture what she was trying to model for and more.

You aint lost your touch. :)

have I missed something, are you injured?

this lady presents warming assets and almost hedgehog hair.

I almost think the updiedown red L could be skintone or nippletone, even armpit-tone, just to be simpler.

my sad tale (http://www.wetcanvas.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=15049)
I am really miserable today but happy to hear from all of you.
and what did you mean? I should tone the background into the same colors? it echoes the other shapes.... I am totally lost on that one. AND interested, so try again....

07-24-2001, 09:08 PM
excellent work! love the textures and colors and form...
I too hope your arm is better very soon!

i like the composition
it is kind of complex,
but the painting appears simple
the colors are also kept to two,
with variations thereof

there are larege diagonals from corner to corner
and several diagonals within
the color lines from the shoulders down,
the lines of the abdomen

It's a goody, djstar.

You've got a rare talent for turning your models psychologically "inside out".

07-24-2001, 11:44 PM
I always suspected that you could draw better than me with one hand tied behind your back. This confirms it. Beautiful!

Sorry to hear about your accident.

Frame it!!! I LOVE this!!! She's FANTASTIC!

I did some interesting work left-handed when I broke my arm... When the fire is inside of you, nothing can stop you!!!

Wow...what can I say. I always love your works.
The colours you use for the skin stones are the most I love.

DJ, this is very good.I like the sensitive flesh color changes. If you ever want to try oils again, I have found something that might help. It has really helped me. I'll e-mail you about it. Take care of those hands. You don't have any to spare.
