Hi!
If you want that your canvas have a dull or unpolished intensity, a wax bee medium is a good choice.

Thanks. I don't really want dull. Somewhere I thought that I read that wax makes the colors seem to glow from within. Any thoughts on that?? Also does it hold the brushstroke or flatten out?

Phyllis:

I don't really use wax medium, but I know that people do and to some effect. Since this post has been knocking around here without a good answer, I will send you over to Studio Products (www.studioproducts.com). Go into the Ceninni forum and do a search on Wax Medium. You will get more than enough information to answer all of your questions.

Hope that helps... :)

Thanks, Michael. I can do that and probably will. I just thought I'd try here first 'cause Cennini tests my patience. And it's not about personality--it's just that the forums are upside down.
